High-level representatives from Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering visited Shanghua Heavy Industry and Jia Hua Technology for an inspection and exchange, jointly discussing cooperation on the construction of a new factory in Dalian.

Nantong, June 19, 2025 —To accelerate the construction of Dalian's new modernized factory and deepen core supply chain collaboration, the senior leadership team of Dalian COSCO Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian COSCO Kawasaki") conducted a special inspection trip from June 18 to 19, visiting Nantong Shanghua Machinery Heavy Industry Development Co., Ltd. (June 18) and Jiangsu Jiahua Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. (June 19). This high-level inspection focused on equipment matching for the new factory, technical standard alignment, and supply chain optimization, demonstrating the high importance placed on partners.
Day 1 Inspection: Deepening Strategic Collaboration with Nantong Shanghua Heavy Industry 
On June 18, the deputy general manager of Dalian COSCO Kawasaki led a delegation to Nantong Shanghua Heavy Industry. Accompanied by the management of Shanghua Heavy Industry, the inspection team went deep into the production line, focusing on its large-scale structural component manufacturing capabilities, welding process quality control system, and heavy equipment production management experience . The two sides conducted pragmatic exchanges on key equipment supply, technical specification alignment, and capacity assurance plans for the initial stage of the new Dalian factory construction. The Japanese senior management fully affirmed Shanghua Heavy Industry's professional strength and long-term cooperation achievements, and looked forward to its strong support for the construction of the new factory. 
Focus of the Next Day: Jiahua Technology Showcases its Intelligent Manufacturing Capabilities and Jointly Plans for Cooperation 
On June 19, the inspection team visited Jiangsu Jiahua Technology. Accompanied by Chairman Zhang Nianhua and his team, the senior leaders carefully visited the intelligent production line, precision machining workshop, digital quality control center, and supply chain scheduling platform . Jiahua Technology highlighted its technical innovation capabilities, flexible production model, and full-process lean management system in the field of high-end ship components 。

At the subsequent thematic seminar, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the collaborative R&D of high-precision core components needed for the new Dalian factory, the application of intelligent manufacturing technology, and the supply chain real-time response mechanism .
